In Oregon Overton’s older sister, Jane Parrett lived with her two sons, Walter and Addie on their old homestead that her husband took up in 1852 on Parrett Mountain. Her other son, Samuel Larkin is a banker in New Burg. He has two sons, Homer and Clifton and one daughter, Eva. Jane Parrett passed away, November 28, 1921, and was laid to rest on Parrett Mountain.
His sister, Adeline Ashpole, and husband lives at Medford, Oregon in the Rogue river valley. They have two sons, Wilbert, a widower, at home and Roy at Eaglepoint, Oregon.
Sara Lewis, a widow, lives at Sherwood and has one son, William at Portland and Elisa Ann Hagey, another sister, lives at Sherwood and has one son, William and two daughters, Gertrude Lukes and Lottie Muralt, also of Sherwood.
His only brother, Charles William lives at New Berg.
Olivia Hall, his sister who lived in Coos Bay, Oregon, died on May 16, 1919.
